The trial for Jussie Smollett began Monday, November 29th, 2021. While many reading this article may not know who he is, the name might sound familiar. Jussie Smollett was a gay black man on a Fox television show called Empire. His sister, Jurnee Smollett, is a popular performer and has been in television since she was a small child, such as sassy Denise Frazer on Full House, and Hanging With Mr. Cooper. Why does that matter? Well, according to the prosecution against Jussie Smollett, the entire point of him filing false claims of bigotry and racism was for the publicity.…

Yesterday, November 29th, 2021, marked the beginning of opening arguments in one of the highest profile criminal cases brought to trial in Manhattan, New York. Despite the seriousness of the federal charges being pressed against Ghislaine Maxwell, there are many who don’t even know who the woman is or what she’s being charged with. Of course, the press knows who she is, politicians and Hollywood elites know who she is, but most of your everyday men and women in the country are a little lost. I personally asked eleven different people who Ghislaine Maxwell was or if they knew about…

Enes Kanter plays basketball in America for the Boston Celtics currently. As a lover of sports, the recent bouts of activism have been super obnoxious and none more so than in basketball. Mostly because we don’t get to hear much about conservative b-ballers or even players who love and respect America. (You know, the country that pays them to play a game). One player has begun to make some major headlines and it has nothing to do with his sport. Like Lebron James recent behavior off the court, it’s all about his tweets, his op-eds, and most importantly his politics.…

It’s officially Christmas Season. For me and my family it was the moment Halloween ended with a brief break for Thanksgiving, but for the rest of the civilized world, Black Friday is the beginning of Christmas music, hot chocolate, Christmas trees, lights of gold, red, and green.  And, of course, there are the movies with the same basic storyline about a rich workaholic falling in love with someone who reminds them not to be so busy with work but remade about six different ways from Hallmark. This is a yearly ritual. I don’t mean that they repeat the same six…

**Graphic Images Warning** From the very beginning the tragedy that occurred in Waukesha, Wisconsin has been rife with questions. Number one, of course, is why did 39-year-old Darrell Brooks kill and maim those innocent people with his vehicle? What sort of excuse could the BLM activist possibly have for injuring and killing so many people who were trying to celebrate Christmas? On November 21st, 2021, the city of Waukesha, Wisconsin held a Christmas parade in which hundreds of people gathered to watch or participate. And then a red SUV flies down the route and plows into the masses, killing five…

Jimmy Hoffa, born James Riddle Hoffa in 1913, was once the most famous man in the country. He started off as a Teamster  who had some business dealings with several organized crime leaders back in the 1930’s. Eventually he was arrested and imprisoned for a number of crimes including jury tampering, attempted bribery and fraud. This didn’t change his status as something of a hero for helping to unionize the bulk of the working class at that time. Hoffa’s prison sentence of 13 years began in 1967 and had he stayed in prison, he might still be alive today. However,…

Just today, on November 19th, 2021 Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all five charges that state brought against him. His reaction was immediate and silent as he held back tears. Count 1: First Degree Reckless Homicide – Not Guilty Count 2: First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety – Not Guilty Count 3: First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety – Not Guilty Count 4: First Degree Intentional Homicide – Not Guilty Count…

While the actual jury is still out as of the end of day yesterday, November 16th, 2021, the mainstream media’s verdict has been in since the very beginning. MSNBC, CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times and just about every other leftist commentator out there decided that not only was Kyle Rittenhouse guilty of murder, they’ve labeled him a mass shooter, a domestic terrorist, and even a white supremacist. Even though nobody can truly know the full weight of the burden that Rittenhouse is currently carrying at the moment, one other can at least understand that bile and hatred…

Aaron Rodgers, starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, November 5th, 2021. This was reported by ESPN, as well as several other news agencies. Now, keep in mind that people test positive for COVID-19 every single day, especially vaccinated players that don’t get dragged out by the media for catching the virus. So why does the media care so much? Because back in August right before the season, Aaron Rodgers claimed to be “immunized” against the vaccine, but because the journalists only hear what they want to hear, they took that to mean the…

https://youtu.be/i1UEj_6T1RE It is difficult to sum up a comedy routine like Dave Chappelle’s sixth and “final” Netflix special The Closer. Please note that as a conservative white woman, most of his jokes just aren’t as funny to me. I wouldn’t call them offensive because comedy, if done correctly, will always be offensive to someone. Humans can’t help it. We personalize things too much and we become defensive of those things, but if we’re honest we can still find humor in those taboo subjects. We are told comedy is one of the last bastions of free speech and yet day by…

One of the reviews for this weekend is Netflix’s “Original” series Masters of the Universe: Revelation. The original television series was called He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. There is, at this time, no evidence whatsoever that…

Back in the nineties there was a brief fear and fascination with the idea of our planet being struck by a comet or asteroid. Perhaps a group of writers in Hollywood recalled their own classes in elementary where teachers discussed what brought about the end of the Dinosaurs. Either way, we got two movies out of it (Deep Impact and Armageddon) along with the terrifying realization that something from outer space could collide with our planet and that would be the end. “It’s what we call a global killer” says Billy Bob Thornton’s character Dan Truman, in the 1998 Blockbuster,…

But when Venom (2018) was slow (my only issue with the film), it was slow. Let There Be Carnage immediately addresses the titled villain of the show who had been teased during the end credits of Venom, Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). Like most movies…
