I’ve been predicting for a long time now that Disney’s live action version of the animated classic “Snow White,” was going to be a complete and utter dumpster fire. I’ve held to this opinion ever since they cast Rachel Zegler as the title character who, by the way, is not at all in possession of pale, fair skin that’s as white as snow. It’s a typical progressive move. Flip the main character’s race of a popular intellectual property in the name of diversity.
Well, that wasn’t the only sign this movie was going to suck worse than a Hoover vacuum. That came when they fired the “little people” they had originally hired to play the Seven Dwarfs after actor Peter Dinklage got scared that he might be replaced as the number one favorite “little person” in Hollywood, and made snide remarks about how insulting it was to hire such individuals for these kind of roles.
They then replaced them with tall, regular actors and actress and were going to make them something different than dwarfs. That went over like a lead balloon so they decided to make them computer animated dwars instead. This is a full-on poo poo platter if you couldn’t already tell.
Finally, my feelings have been confirmed after Disney released the trailer for the movie on Tuesday. Just hours after it hit the internet, thousands of commenters obliterated the trailer. Many of the comments were negative toward Zegler who has made a number of radical left-wing statements and anti-Trump statements, including a wish that all those who voted Trump “never know peace.”
Such a sweet young lady.
Here’s more from Breitbart:
“Rachel Zeglar – the people need some kindness,” one commenter said quoting the film, and then, adding “Also Rachel Zeglar – May over half of the U.S. never know peace.” Of course, Zegler apologized for her “F*** DONALD TRUMP” screed but not before she suggested that his supporters are part of a “deep, deep sickness in this country.”
Is it any wonder, then, why some commenters went so far as to wish for the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot) to triumph over Snow White?
t’s a disastrous Déjà Vu for Disney. This trailer dropped just four months after the first one, which was also poorly received. “With nearly 6.7 million views on YouTube, the downvotes outnumber the upvotes by ten — TEN! — times,” Breitbart’s John Nolte wrote at the time. “Only 69,000 people out of 6.7 million bothered to upvote the trailer. An astonishing 735,000 gave it a downvote.” And the passage of time (LOL) hasn’t been kind to the first trailer. It now has double the downvotes (1.4 million) and only added 30,000 upvotes.
If you’ve lost track of the scandals surrounding this film and its rollout, you’re probably not alone. Indeed, Zegler initially spent some time promoting her remake by trashing the beloved 1937 classic original as sexist and dated. Disney dumped dwarfs from the film after famous midget actor Peter Dinklage derided the idea of casting midgets to play dwarfs. The studio then set out to record costly reshoots and replaced the seven dwarfs with “magical beings.”
Zegler has proven herself to be quite the liability for Disney seeing as she just cannot keep her mouth shut about her political opinions. Sure, she has the right to say whatever she wants per the First Amendment, but as liberals are always keen to point out, that doesn’t guarantee you experience zero consequences for your words.

Then there’s Zegler’s decision to declare “Free Palestine” on social media in August while promoting the first trailer. Her co-star Gadot, an Israel Defense Forces veteran and former Miss Israel, hasn’t publicly commented on Zegler’s inflammatory remarks.
This young starlet in the making has not yet learned that her career is predicated on being able to woo an audience into attending her films. Alienating half your audience is not the way to accomplish that. Maybe if this film bombs harder than fifty pounds of C-4 she’ll finally get the message.
