Extremely popular musical artist Taylor Swift, who, by the way, is a billionaire — that’s “billions” with a “b” — has been going viral in recent months for a whole lot of reasons, including the release of a new album. But one that you might not have known about — which I guess is weird if it’s viral, right? — are the videos being passed around that show her on the Eras tour singing a lovely little ditty, “f*** the partriarchy” from a song of her’s called “All Too Well.” Now folks are referring to her as a “phony.”
Listen, I think it’s safe to say that almost anyone who is working in the entertainment industry is a phony. They literally get paid millions of dollars to pretend to be other people. Being phony is in the job description. But what makes Taylor Swift’s little chant with fans so cringe is that it doesn’t feel genuine. It’s not something she seemingly really believes. As a top selling artist, she needs to forever remain new, fresh, and relevant. Politics is a good way for her to accomplish that goal.
Conservative politics won’t do the trick, however, so she really pumps the progressivism up in recent music she’s released. Her earlier work, along with her public appearances, remained apolitical. Swift focused on the music and that made her appealing to all walks of life. Not anymore. The pressure to become a raging liberal who is obnoxiously vocal about following the prescribed set of beliefs handed to her by leftists overlords or risk losing massive swaths of her fan base simply became too much to resist.

Billionaire Taylor Swift has been going viral for months as social media videos show the pop sensation leading sold out crowds at her Eras tour singing the “f*** the patriarchy” lyric from her song “All Too Well.” Now, Swift is being called out by critics as a phony.
The controversy reemerged Sunday night at Wembley Stadium in London, England, with some in the crowd left wondering how she could be so quick to degrade men and a “patriarchy” that has helped her prosper on a global scale and see her fly by private jet from gig to gig even as she claimed to speak out against critics and their own indulgences.

The song All Too Well, which features on her fourth studio album, Red, contains the lyric: ‘”You taught me ’bout your past, thinkin’ your future was me/And you were tossing me the car keys, ‘f**k the patriarchy’ keychain on the ground.”
The Daily Mail reports while the track is a popular fixture in her live sets, the 34-year-old drew a mixed response after encouraging 88,000 predominantly female fans at Wembley to scream its final line in a defiant act of apparent rebellion.
Many of the folks who have criticized her have included clips in their social media clips to illustrate their points.

One user, Rachel Wilson, who was not at all impressed with Swift and her misandry, expressed their feelings on the matter by pointing out that the very set Swift was performing on and making sweet, sweet stacks of cash on, was likely built by men. The very ones she was hating on with her little chant.
Taylor Swift’s career would not be possible without all of the men who build those giant sets, drive them in semi trucks cross-country for her tours, light & sound engineers, etc. The world that makes her success possible was invented, built, and is maintained by men. https://t.co/2PUvuCsi5q

Someone else asked how a person who made money off fans who belong to both sexes could say something like this?
taylor swift got her audience of 88k fans to scream “F*** THE PATRIARCHY” at her concert yesterday

Taylor Swift sings “F the patriarchy” and gets a bunch of impressionable young women to sing along with her, demonstrating she’s a complete imbecile, knows nothing about how functioning societies are built, and shouldn’t be influencing your children. pic.twitter.com/KYp3frbXhB

Taylor Swift is worth over $1 billion yet criticizes the system that allowed this success.

“I love when pampered and privileged billionaires try to pretend they’re one of us and not part of the establishment. It’s so cute,” offered another X user.
A fourth response read, “Very few people have benefited from the nonexistent patriarchy quite as much as Taylor Swift.”
Finally, yet another user said, “The irony is so thick, it’s like trying to swim through a vat of molasses with a blindfold on.”
