If there’s one thing history has taught us about the nation of Israel, it’s that they are hardcore warriors who know exactly how to go about eliminating those who harm their people, which is something that was put on full display when the Israel Defense Force published video footage of a new military operation they launched showing their entry into Gaza. This, according to the IDF, is the next stage of combat in the retaliation for the terrorist attacks perpetrated on their soil by Hamas terrorists from Palestine that left 1,400 people dead, including women and children.
“IDF tanks & infantry struck numerous terrorist cells, infrastructure and anti-tank missile launch posts,” the statement continued, according to the Daily Wire. “The soldiers have since exited the area and returned to Israeli territory.”
“Thermal imaging showed roughly a dozen heavily armored vehicles, mostly Merkava tanks, following bulldozers that smashed through Israel’s fence on its border with Gaza that was built to protect Israel from Palestinian terrorists,” the report continued.
In preparation for the next stages of combat, the IDF operated in northern Gaza.

The damage done by Hamas in Israel also included leaving 5,400 people with serious wounds, along with 200 people kidnapped and taken to Gaza. If you look at much of the material confiscated from dead Hamas terrorists, it becomes rather clear this assault on the Jewish nation has its roots in the Islamic religion. It’s not just political. It’s jihad. The Quran demands that lands that were once considered to be property of Muslims be attacked over and over until the land is retaken. And that’s why you consistently see the Palestinians going after Israel and trying to destroy its democracy. It has nothing to do with colonialism, despite what the radical left says.
“Hamas was able to avoid detection for the two years it took to plan the attack by using hardwired landlines inside its vast underground terror tunnels. Meetings also took place in person and only a small number of people in the organization knew the exact plans up until right before the attack was launched,” the Daily Wire reported.
“What is interesting about Hamas is that the rate of growth of the tunnels, not only in size but also in purpose, complemented the development of the organization’s operational concept,” Prof. Joel Roskin, a geomorphologist and geologist at Bar-Ilan University’s geography and environment department went on to state. “It began with the smuggling of goods, progressed to the smuggling of weapons, and later evolved into attack tunnels.”

Many folks on the liberal side of the fence have attempted to do away with the religious motivation for the rift between Palestinians and Jews, but if you are really trying to understand the Middle East region, you simply cannot do that. For this part of the world, religion dominates the vast majority of culture and society. It’s not like the Western part of the globe that has largely abandoned its Christian roots. We cannot ever hope to usher in peace without first understand where the conflict started and why.
And that’s why the left continues to politicize this skirmish and continually pick the wrong side of the conflict.
