Twitter Lawyer Who Banned Trump & Hid Hunter’s Laptop Scandal Donated $18,000 to Democrats

One of Twitter’s top lawyers who played a key role in the platform’s decision to ban Donald Trump and its actively playing down the Hunter Biden laptop scandal has been called out for her political bias by Elon Musk.

Vijaya Gadde, 47, originally moved to the States as a child from India with her family. She claims she experienced racist abuse as an Indian child growing up in Texas and that her father had to get permission from the Ku Klux Klan to work as a door-to-door insurance salesman.

Despite her initial hardships, in undeniable proof that the American dream is attainable for all races and creeds, Vijaya became a successful lawyer at the elite Silicon Valley based law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati before joining the Twitter team in 2011.

While most would sympathise with the racism and abuse minorities faced in the past, it is a mistake to allow that resentment to impact peaceful free speech, freedom of expression and to control communication on social media platforms. Arguably, that’s just what Gadde has done with Twitter.

For too long, the platform has been controlled by those with a left-wing, political agenda and it’s not until free-speech advocate Elon Musk took control of the company that we’re beginning to see the extent of the politics going on behind the scenes.

According to the Daily Mail, Gadde regularly donates to Democratic candidates, having dished out more than $18,000 in the past 20 years. More recently she gave Kamala Harris’ campaign a $2,700 donation in 2019.

The top lawyer was handed near complete control over Twitter’s content policies by creator and former owner Jack Dorsey. It has been up to Gadde to decide the content people are allowed to post and what could get them thrown into Twitter jail.

“He [Jack Dorsey] rarely weighs in on an individual enforcement decision,” Gadde explained to Bloomberg when asked about her control over content policy decisions.

“I can’t even think of a time. I usually go to him and say, ‘this is what’s going to happen.”

She has been at the forefront of some of Twitter’s most controversial moves, including the platform’s decision to perma-ban Donald Trump’s account and was responsible for Twitter’s sudden change in policy to disallow the New York Post from sharing evidence of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop files.

The New York Post’s account was suspended for 2 weeks and told not to post the article.

“Over the last 24 hours we’ve received significant feedback (from critical to supportive) about how we enforced our Hacked Materials Policy yesterday. After reflecting on this feedback, we have decided to make changes to the policy and how we enforce it,” wrote Gadde in a Tweet.

According to insiders, Gadde broke down in tears as she told her Twitter colleagues about Musk’s takeover of the company. Clearly the left-wing lawyer is distraught that her woke dictatorship of Twitter content has finally come to an end.

Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, condemned the “left wing bias” the company has been plagued with for so long, adding: “Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate.

“For Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral, which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left equally”.
