Conservative circles and supporters of former President Donald Trump are buzzing with approval this week as NFL star Travis Kelce was spotted showing some love for a social media post by former SportsCenter anchor Sage Steele, a known Trump fan.

Steele, not shy about her political leanings, openly supports Trump, calling her endorsement a “no-brainer.” Her recent post featured a snapshot from UFC 299 in Miami, where she met the former president. “After years of covering @ufc at ESPN, I FINALLY got to see it live & in person. Game changer. THANK YOU @danawhite … for EVERYTHING! Great people, great event, great fights!” she excitedly captioned the image.

The post didn’t just showcase her handshake with Trump but also included a video clip of him entering the arena and photos with other conservative figures such as Candace Owens and Patrick Bet-David. Steele provocatively wrapped up her post with: “cue the divisive, close-minded thoughts and unfollows in 3…2…1…,” hashtagging it #DiversityOfThought.

The like from Kelce, who is currently dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, has not gone unnoticed. His endorsement has caused quite the stir among left-wing social media circles, particularly given his past support for progressive causes.

Swift and Kelce have consistently been in the news for their romantic relationship. They’ve been seen together at various events from concerts to the Super Bowl.

Over the weekend, this revelation ignited a firestorm of reactions. “Travis Kelce has liked a post on Instagram praising Donald Trump. I always knew this man had MAGA energy but now we have proof,” vented one user on X.

Another fumed, “Travis Kelce can eat sh** for all I care. He’s a drunk, xenophobic, fat phobic, trump loving, a**hole.”
