Shocker! FBI Reveals Findings on Alec Baldwin Shooting

Have you ever been just floored by a news report? I mean numb, stunned, in disbelief? Me too.

There have been big events in my life that have been unbelievable. The space shuttle Challenger, 9/11, Princess Di passing away in a high-speed chase, John Lennon’s murder. Events so shocking people talk about where they were and what they were doing years later when they found out.

This isn’t one of them. You’ll remember last year, washed up actor and Trump Derangement Syndrome victim Alec Baldwin shot and killed a crew member on the set of his “b” list movie “Rust”? Alec has since blamed everyone except Trump for the shooting. From saying he thought he was holding a “cold” gun to blaming the prop guys, to claiming the gun magically went off on its own, you know, since guns do that all the time, Alec has been blaming everyone and their brother for the shooting. No word on Billy’s whereabouts.

Turns out he was full of it. The FBI released their findings, and the itchy trigger finger points right at Baldwin. Let’s fire up Outkick for the details:

Stunner: ABC News obtained an FBI forensic report determining that Alec Baldwin pulled the trigger on the gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust” last year.

The FBI conducted an accidental discharge test to debunk Baldwin’s assertion that the gun fired by itself.

“[The gun] could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger,” the report stated.

Well, I have to be honest, I’m no expert, but I was under the impression that’s how guns work. You have to pull the trigger.

However, considering the integrity of the FBI in recent years, maybe Baldwin has a glimmer of hope. Perhaps he could partner with President Trump and come up with a defense to dispute the FBI findings. I suspect Baldwin would rather go to jail.

Last December, Baldwin told George Stephanopoulos he thought he had a “cold gun” in his hand.

Baldwin has made a series of bizarre comments since his initial denial.

In April, Baldwin demanded widespread “gun control reform” following a shooting in South Carolina. That’s right, Baldwin, who ignores gun safety rules himself, called for the government to implement stricter gun safety rules for others.

Next, he demanded that airlines instill more “workplace safety.” Baldwin, a hazard in the workplace, is focused on airline employees acting recklessly in the workplace.

All of this would be hilarious if it were being played for a laugh, something Baldwin hasn’t gotten since his 30 Rock days, but this dude is serious. Alec Baldwin is a walking OSHA violation!

Alec Baldwin actually called for gun control reform and a step up in workplace safety! This is the height of irony. If Baldwin got a DUI would he call for more police sobriety checkpoints? Nah, he would probably blame the bartender for pouring booze in his face. It’s never Alec’s fault.

As for what’s next, Fox News reports that the Suffolk County Police Department in New York is actively assisting the Santa Fe Sheriffs’ office in obtaining and processing Alec Baldwin’s phone records.

“The District Attorney’s office has been working with Suffolk County PD, and Baldwin’s lawyer to acquire the phone records,” Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said. “Once Suffolk County PD completes its agency assist and sends those records to New Mexico law enforcement, our detectives will need to then thoroughly review those phone records for evidentiary purposes.”

This is not a good sign for our buddy Alec. If Baldwin was cooking up any schemes to clear his name or sway any sort of evidentiary finding, his proverbial goose could be cooked.
