It seems the only time President Joe Biden and his ilk care at all about the situation down at the border is when it comes to stopping those who are in charge of those states from taking action to seal off the border and prevent illegal migrants from flooding into the country. Which, by the way, is the exact opposite of the duty the federal government has concerning immigration. It’s their job to ensure that the law is enforced, the border secured, and America kept safe from invasion. Clearly, with 300,000 plus migrants getting into the country a month, they are not doing their jobs.
Why are they fighting so hard to keep the border open? There are a number of theories. Perhaps they want to change the demographics of the country and increase the population in certain states so they can gain more representation for the Democratic Party in Congress? Maybe they want to bring illegal immigrants into the country, hook them on welfare, feed them narratives about how the evil Republicans want to take their goodies away, and then have them voting in droves in places that do not require voter identification?
Could be both.
Either way, it’s obvious the Democrats are up to something. Why would the Biden administration threaten to have Immigration and Customs Enforcement deport fewer illegal immigrants if the GOP doesn’t pass the controversial Senate border bill if they weren’t?
Well, Republicans are furious with the president and his administration and have issued a response to the threat, which is probably going to make Biden big mad.
via The Daily Wire:
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed to reporters on Wednesday that congressional Republicans were “choosing partisan politics over our national security” because they do not support the bill that many experts and critics say will make President Joe Biden’s illegal immigration crisis even worse.
“Here is what that means: ICE would be forced to reduce its removal operations, its total detention capacity, and more,” she remarked. “When ICE can’t conduct these operations, our national security and public safety will be harmed.”

Jean-Pierre’s attempt to shift blame for the administration’s border crisis onto Republicans comes as numerous recent polls have shown that the crisis is the top issue for many voters, and the overwhelming majority of Americans blame Biden for it. Republican senators and House members responded to Jean-Pierre’s remarks on social media by saying they amounted to extortion by the Biden administration.
“And yet, in 2022, when I sought to provide more $ to deport CRIMINAL illegal aliens, every single Democrat voted against it,” stated Sen. Bill Hagerty, a Tennessee Republican. “Don’t believe this blame-shifting nonsense.”
Another Republican senator from Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn, said, “Is Biden the President or a mobster? Attempting to shake down Republicans for a bad immigration bill won’t secure our southern border. It shows Biden can fix the problem that he created.”
Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee called the threat “extortion.” Following in his example, Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton took to X, saying, “This is blackmail. And an admission that Biden controls the level of illegal immigration. The entire border crisis is by design.”
Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas responded to the threat by remarking, “They’ve already abandoned the field – but this is why we should not fund DHS until we force the border security that is necessary.”
Biden may have just exposed himself in a big way. Will this sort of strong-arm threat wake the American Democrats up from their delusion long enough for them to do the right thing in November? Let’s hope so.
