Singer of the super popular song, “Last Night,” Morgan Wallen, is making a huge change in his musical career, as he’s now moving to have Austin Neal take over as his full manager, according to several reports that were published on Thursday.
According to The Daily Caller, both Neal and Wallen are establishing a new firm called Sticks Management which will feature the singer as its only client. Wallen’s previous management was handled by Big Loud Management. The relationship between Big Loud’s head honcho, Seth England, is still intact and the former co-manager, Kathleen Flaherty, has been installed as the new executive director of the Morgan Wallen Foundation.
The move comes after back-to-back years of insane success from Wallen, both in his music and his business development. In April 2023, he announced his first major brand partnership with Ryl Tea after his almost-cancellation from the mainstream music industry in 2021. The product sold out within hours of its launch a month later.

Wallen expanded in November 2023 with a potential seven-figure multi-year deal with Ethika clothing for a signature line of production.
By May 2024, Wallen was deep into the launch of “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen” on Nashville’s notorious Broadway. The 30,000 square-foot venue boasts food, drinks, live music and probably more. He did all this while maintaining his position as one, if not the top-selling artist in the country with back-to-back No.1 albums and allegedly throwing a chair off a roof.
A lot of folks will likely think Wallen making such a big change while his career is exploding is strange, but one of the reasons people shake things up like this is so they can be put in an uncomfortable position in order to grow. Evolution — not the biological kind — only occurs when a person is pushed beyond their boundaries and face new challenges.
“Or, and this is the worst case scenario, the change might have something to do with the legal case surrounding Wallen’s suspected chair-throwing incident. Wallen is due in court in August in relation to allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s bar, also on Broadway, according to Billboard. He faces three felony counts for the incident in which, thankfully, no one was hurt,” the report said.
There are a lot of pressures that come with stardom as we’ve seen over and over again when celebrities have incidents like this one. Just imagine people always watching you, recording every single move you make, posting it up on the internet and social media. Music artists have never enjoyed a whole lot of privacy, but what little they had before is almost non-existent in today’s world.
Many make fools of themselves every single day. The difference is, most of us don’t have these less than stellar moments captured on video and blasted around for the world to see.

This sort of pressure is even worse for kids who practically live on social media sites like X, TikTok, and Instagram.
Let’s hope this new venture for Wallen is successful.
