The high school, which is a part of the Mansfield Independent School District, reported that Timberview High School had locked down all 1900 or so of it’s students and once the building had been cleared by the police and ATF, they would begin bussing students to a designated reunification spot. Parents were told to meet their children at the Center of Performing Arts.
Fox News spoke to the Mayor of Arlington, Jim Ross who provided a minimal update on where the students would be headed now that the school had been cleared. During the broadcast the anchorwoman and Trace Gallagher stated another “active shooter” situation may have taken place at Washington Liberty High School within Arlington, TX. Mayor Ross stated he was unaware of the Washington Liberty incident at the time he was last reported to.
Multiple sources are now saying that three of the four injured were taken to the hospital, one for a minor injury and two for gun shot wounds.
