Hollywood celebrities are none too happy about Special Counsel Jack Smith throwing in the towel and junking the bogus charges that were brought against now President-elect Donald Trump concerning alleged election interference. And they’re whining and crying like a toddler who dropped his binky on the kitchen floor on social media. When they aren’t spilling gallons of delicious liberal tears over the fact Trump essentially did the Hulk Hogan leg drop on Vice President Kamala Harris last month, they are fear mongering by digitally wailing about how the rule of law will soon come crashing to an end.
It’s an absolutely obnoxious, however not at all unexpected reaction. Especially from the likes of stars like Mark Hamill, George Takei, Jon Cryer — a man who truly lives up to his surname — and Wendell Pierce, all of whom immediately got on social media to drop hot takes about Smith dropping the charges against the president-elect.
“Justice in America, in fact, does NOT matter,” Disney’s Star Wars actor Mark Hamill proclaimed in a post sprinkled with delicious irony. The very fact the charges were brought against Trump in the first place is an indication that, under Biden-Harris leadership, justice is dead. It’s called “lawfare,” Luke. Maybe if you use the force you’ll finally be able to discern the fact you’re on the dark side.
” HBO’s The Wire actor Wendell Pierce said in what he probably thinks is a brilliant statement.
“The Evidence against Donald Trump is overwhelming and unrefuted,” CBS’ Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer stated. This guy hasn’t really been relevant since his show ended years ago.
As Breitbart News reported, Smith filed a motion on Monday to dismiss the election interference case against Trump in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, marking a major victory for the president-elect. In addition, Smith also filed a motion in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit to dismiss an appeal in the documents case.
Together, the moves mark the end of the federal prosecutions against the president-elect, leaving the two remaining cases at the state level in Georgia and New York. This was clearly too much to bear for Hollywood celebrities, who had spent months cheering on the the lawfare prosecutions. “Trump avoided any accountability for January 6th and the stolen documents and this is forever a stain on the concept that no one is above law,” Barbara Streisand posted on Bluesy.

Star Trek actor George Takei took a swipe at Trump over the documents case. “Only biological males with cakey orange foundation and 34 felony convictions may use this bathroom,” he wrote alongside a photo from the federal government’s raid of Mar-a-Lago.

Actress Mia Farrow took to her social media account and wrote, “What a gut punch. Never again can it be said that ‘In America, no one is above the law.”

Hilariously, President Joe Biden has just pardoned his own son, Hunter Biden, for federal charges against him. So what’s all this about no one being above the law?
