Comedian and host of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart, took an opportunity on the program to mock MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts, Mika Brzezinski and her husband co-host, Joe Scarborough, for having an in-person meeting with President-elect Donald Trump. The reason? “Because you said he was Hitler,” the host reminded the pair. Good point. Why would you want to meet with someone that you essentially consider to be the devil wrapped in a garb of human flesh? Unless, of course, you were using hyperbole and didn’t actually mean a word of what you said at the time. And that, indeed, is likely the case.
Propagandists within the mainstream media apparatus make use of extreme language to help shape a narrative in order to put the average viewer of their programming under a mind-control spell. Not in a literal sense, but in a psychological sense. Thus, when you see them all saying Trump is the reincarnation of the Furor of the Third Reich, it’s just a psychological ploy to drum up fear and out of that fear lead people to vote in line with the progressive agenda.

During Monday’s episode of The Daily Show, Stewart noted that “Joe and Mika Brzezinski Scarborough, who famously warned of the growing threat of Trump’s fascism,” had “an interesting announcement to make,” before playing a clip of Brzezinski addressing the public. In her announcement, Brzezinski stated, “Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the President-elect himself. On Friday, we were given the opportunity to do just that.”
“Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. And for those asking why we would go speak to the President-elect during such fraught times — especially between us — I guess I would ask back, why wouldn’t we?” Brzezinski then explained.
The video then cut back to Stewart, who plainly stated, “Uh, because you said he was Hitler.”
“I’m gonna do a one-act play called ‘Joe and Mika go to Mar-a-Lago,’” Stewart then said on the show, before going on to mimick the Morning Joe hosts, saying, “Mr. President, your rhetoric is outrageous! I cannot in good conscience — oh, are those macaroons?”
The comedian then acted as if he were stuffing his maw full of macaroons, then said, “The pink one is raspberry!” Stewart then breaks away from his impression and says, “We’ve learned nothing! Even those putting up resistance to Trump’s agenda don’t seem to understand who they’re dealing with.”

“Republicans are playing chess, and the Democrats are in the nurse’s office because they glued their balls to their thigh,” Stewart ranted. “The election that we just had was a repudiation of the status quo, an overly-regulated system that is no longer responsive or delivering for the needs of the people or their beloved behatted squirrels,” making a reference to the now infamous tale of Peanut the Squirrel.
“As Breitbart News reported, less than a week before Election Day, Peanut was euthanized by New York state authorities who raided the squirrel owner’s home after someone apparently complained about the animal. Trump supporters, including Elon Musk, denounced the death of Peanut as a case of government overreach,” the report finished.
