Popular actress Jennifer Lawrence, most well known for her role as Katniss Everdeen in the hit film franchise, “The Hunger Games,” has made her 2024 presidential endorsement. Any guesses as to who she picked? I’ll give you three of them and you won’t need two. If you said Vice President Kamala Harris, my friend, you’ve won the grand prize. Which, I regret to inform you is a big sack of nothing but my respect, which you probably didn’t really want to begin with, but oh well. That’s how the cookie crumbles, my friend.
And that’s not all Lawrence did in her announcement. She also decided to follow the left-wing playbook and push a debunked claim that alleges former President Donald Trump is going to put in place a complete and total federal ban on abortion. Don’t get me wrong, as someone who is diehard pro-life, I wish such a thing would happen, but alas, it’s not going to and Trump has made that super clear. Over. And. Over. And. Over.
You’d think these people would do a little research before firing off at the mouth, but alas, that is indeed not the case here.
via Breitbart News:
Claim: The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has pushed the Democrats’ false claim that President Donald Trump is “going to ban abortion” if he is re-elected. In an interview with People magazine published Tuesday, she said: “That’s the most important thing, is to not let somebody into the White House who is going to ban abortion.”
Verdict: False. Trump has declined to endorse a national ban on abortion and has repeatedly stated he wants individual states to decide the matter for themselves. Jennifer Lawrence endorsed Kamala Harris in the People interview, saying she thinks Harris is an “amazing candidate.” The actress made it abundantly clear what her most important issue is.
“Abortion is literally on the ballot,” she said.
It always, always, always comes down to baby murder for the left, doesn’t it? Very rarely do they ever bring up the economy in Hollywood or any other issue that impacts regular people. No, it’s about the right to kill pre-born children in the womb. Sickening, right? Apparently, child sacrifice is a practice still alive and well, particularly among the rich and the famous.
“I’m voting for Kamala Harris because I think she’s an amazing candidate and I know that she will do whatever she can to protect reproductive rights. That’s the most important thing, is to not let somebody into the White House who is going to ban abortion,” the actress said.
People didn’t challenge Lawrence about the false claim concerning Trump and abortion. Democrats are using abortion to scare their base in the hopes it will give Kamala Harris a boost in the final stretch of the election cycle. Vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) said last month on NBC’s Meet the Press that Trump would veto a national abortion ban if it were passed in his second term.
At the end of the day, these folks are out of touch with reality. And, on top of the disconnect that exists between everyday, regular, hard working Americans and celebrities, you have the immorality of the fact they want the right to abort their pre-born kids. The discrimination against babies in the womb is real and without a doubt is the modern-day civil rights issue that we should be talking about.
