Several Hollywood celebrities have now taken to writing a strongly worded letter to attempt to urge “global leaders” to end the pandemic as soon as humanly possible. That is, so long as they can get the entire world vaccinated according to their rigid timeline. The stars’ goal is to get 70% of the world’s population injected and the consensus seems to be that if enough celebrities sign the letter they can influence the world governments to achieve the goal.
The letter states: “COVID-19 is now a man-made pandemic of apathy. Only 2% of people in low-income countries have received a single dose, leaving the world’s most vulnerable to face COVID with no protection. This situation also lets new variants, like delta, emerge and ravage the lives of millions.
“To get this done, the world community must also invest in last-mile delivery systems, public education and frontline health care workers to get vaccines from tarmacs into arms. Millions of doses could go to waste because low-income countries don’t have the support they need to get vaccines to vulnerable people,”
The public letter, which was organized by model Iman’s (the late David Bowie’s wife) CARE organization, was signed by approximately 80 celebrities. In their letter was the call that all governments get together and administer 7 billion vaccines to the entire world by the end of 2021. After this is achieved, they propose an additional 7 billion doses administered again by mid 2022.
These same A-List celebrities have been seen publicly ignoring the order to mask up, as was proven at the Emmy’s and the Met Gala. After months of slamming Republican governors for supporting parents’ right to make choices whether or not to mask their children for school, the Hollywood elite (many of whom are famous democrats) get to make their own choice. Every guest at the Met Gala and the Emmy’s walked around without their face covered. The excuse given from both nights was that you had to be vaccinated to attend, though double-vaccinated people can still contract and spread COVID, according to the CDC.
One celebrity didn’t find the situation very comforting and felt as if he’d been lied to. Seth Rogen was quoted; “They said this was outdoors. It’s not. They lied to us. We’re in a hermetically sealed tent right now. I would not have come to this.”
However, it was confirmed that the staff for these events had also been required to be vaccinated yet they were still required to wear masks as they served the celebrities. This gave many onlookers the feeling of high-handed hypocrisy.

Seen below is a picture taken at the Emmy’s…
Why is it that only “the help” have to wear masks at the Emmy’s?
First it was the Met Gala. And now this. Seems that Covid-19 gives you a pass if you are wearing black tie or a designer frock. Or maybe it is just one rule for one group…and one for another. pic.twitter.com/H4DSLJ9w1D

Twitter had plenty of angry reactions to the double standards of the two events…
Just a reminder that the celebrities at the Emmy Awards are better than you, your children, and the support staff at the show, because they don't have to wear masks and you do.

Here’s another tweet with photographic evidence of AOC’s hypocrisy…
It's also weird that politicians who enforce mask mandates weren't wearing masks themselves.
You can also see in the background that the Met Gala staff was masked. pic.twitter.com/TTZDJliI1Z— Ladies of Liberty (@ladiesofliberty) September 15, 2021
Clay Travis tweeted…
Why did none of the celebrities at the Emmys have to wear masks indoors but all kids ages two and older have to wear them in preschool and school in Los Angeles?

Here’s one from Buzz Patterson…
Emmys = no masks.
Our college and high school sons = masks.
Where’s the outrage?

Senator Tom Cotton threw this tweet up a few days ago…
These same liberals sanctimoniously mock Republicans for giving parents a choice about masks.
They're all frauds.
And that includes Fauci, who removes his mask when the cameras are off. https://t.co/5mZAlprqTs

It should be noted that while celebs have exceptions made for them when it comes to masking, children are still required to wear masks in schools. The event staff were also vaccinated, as they were required to be or they couldn’t work the events.
“But they were vaccinated!” Is my favorite response to packed tent celebrities with no masks at @TheEmmys

Experts tell us the masks are meant to protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated and that is why they are meant to be worn in public. With scientists still debating, it is not yet clear whether or not the vaccinated need to be protected from the unvaccinated.
