A new report from The Daily Caller has just revealed that federal agents have raided the jail cell of Sean “Diddy” Combs and have seized supposed attorney-client privileged materials, according to the disgraced rapper’s legal representative. I wonder how many sex toys and bottles of baby oil were found stashed in creative places around Diddy’s new bachelor pad? It’s enough to give you the shivers, isn’t it? What a sick and twisted dude.
“Marc Agnifilo, the rapper’s attorney, said he learned Friday that prosecutors allegedly obtained sensitive defense notes from Combs’s cell at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. The seized materials include information about defense witnesses and strategies prepared for Combs’s upcoming May trial, Agnifilo claims,” the report said. “The attorney claimed that federal agents admitted to possessing the notes allegedly taken from Combs’s cell, arguing the alleged search violated the rapper’s Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights.”
The legal team representing Combs also revealed that notes were given to prosecutors involved in the trial and could have been used as part of a legal filing with the goal in mind of keeping the rapper in prison. I mean, I don’t have a problem with him remaining where he is. The crimes he’s being accused of are heinous in nature and involve sexual abuse of minors. Until thorough investigations are conducted into all these allegations, he shouldn’t be set loose on our society.
Plus, with the money at his disposal, it wouldn’t be hard for him to slip away somewhere. I think Sean “Jail biddy” Combs is right where he belongs.
Agnifilo has requested an immediate hearing to address the matter, demanding accountability from federal agents regarding who authorized the alleged search of Combs’s prison cell, who decided which materials to confiscate and who passed the allegedly seized items to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He also seeks to identify who allegedly provided the materials to the trial prosecutors and who allegedly made the decision to withhold the seizure’s details from Combs, including what exactly was taken, the outlet reported.
“Combs remains in custody on charges related to racketeering, sex trafficking and other alleged crimes. He has been denied bail twice since his September arrest,” the report concluded.
In a report published by the BBC, prosecutors are alleging that Combs has been contacting witnesses in an effort to “corruptly influence witness testimony.” He’s apparently been using the telephone accounts of other prisoners to make three-way calls to talk to folks who have not been placed on an approved contacts list.
The same prosecutors say that a review of the recorded calls discovered that Combs was instructing his family to reach out to potential witnesses in his case. This man just cannot keep himself out of trouble, can he?
