A contestant on “Wheel of Fortune” is going viral after giving a hilarious wrong answer during the Monday episode of the popular game show. The contestant, Will Jordan, who serves his local community by being a police officer, was attempting to solve a puzzle which said, “Give yourself a round of applause.” Only a couple of squares were still missing when Jordan gave it the old college try and said, “Treat yourself to a round of sausage.”
Now, I don’t know that I’ve ever heard of someone serving other people sausage calling it a “round,” but you got to give the guy credit for creativity, right? Immediately after the program aired, clips of Jordan giving the answer started flying all over social media. And alas, a star was born!
Another contestant on the episode, Kitina, correctly solved the puzzle after Jordan’s bumble.
“Will, I kind of like yours better,” host Ryan Seacrest wiscracked after the solving of the puzzle. “That sounds better than just clapping right now.”

Maggie Sajak, former host Pat Sajak’s daughter, interviewed Will Jordan after the show in a clip that has since been shared on Instagram, according to The Daily Wire.
“I tell you, when the lights are on, and you know, the stars and Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White… I just went blank,” Will responded.

“But, if your dad, in retirement, is watching this show, maybe cracks a beer and gets a laugh, it was worth it,” he went on to say.
Sajak replied, “I will make sure that we tune in that night, okay? That’s a promise.”
“Awesome. And I’m sure I’m gonna have sausages in my locker and police car when I get back, so we’ll try and have some fun with it,” Will added.
“Playing Wheel of Fortune on stage is a whole different ball game than playing at home, but Will was a great sport about his missolve!” the post’s caption read.
In May, a “Wheel of Fortune” contestant went viral for solving a puzzle that said, “this is the best,” with the incorrect guess, “right in the butt.”
“I had no idea what I was going to say until I opened my mouth,” Tavaris Williams said at the time. “I saw the ‘R,’ I saw ‘B,’ I saw one of the ‘T’s’ and my brain put (together) what it could be, and I thought it was ‘Right in the butt.’ I have never in sequential order ever said that phrase. It’s just what came out.”
Well, if you can’t be famous, why not be infamous? Will Jordan will now forever be known as the “sausage guy.” At least he’ll never be forgotten.
