For a long, long time, the Democratic Party has practically owned the black vote. It’s been this way because the left has carefully crafted false narrative after false narrative in a ploy to convince American blacks that the left champions their causes, listens to and understands their plight. They along have the proper policies that will help bring an end to the issues that plague them and their communities.
Well, it seems that after years of making empty false promises, black men are no longer believing the lies the left has told them over and over again to secure their vote and then completely avoid fulfilling their word. In fact, new polling data suggests that black men are shaking off the Democratic Party and are turning to former President Donald Trump instead.
If you cup your ear with your hand, close your eyes, remain absolutely still, you can actually hear the screams of agony coming from the left as they realize they aren’t simply losing some folks to the Republican Party, but to Trump specifically, the man they have spent the last decade attempting to paint up as a horrible, awful, no-good racist.
You love to see it.
According to a report from the Daily Caller, Trump has more than doubled his support among this same group of voters in poll data released on Thursday by The Wall Street Journal.
Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, has long sought to gain support among black voters, traditionally a Democratic-supporting demographic, by touting his record on the economy and criminal justice reform while in office, among other matters. A recent poll estimated that 30% of black men in seven battleground states — Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — “definitely or probably” plan to vote for Trump in November’s election, an increase of 18% from his nationwide performance among that demographic in 2020, where he earned 12% of their votes, the Journal reported.
Trump’s support among black women also increased by a smaller amount, to 11% in the current poll from 6% in 2020, the Journal reported. Among college-educated black voters, Trump’s support increased by ten percentage points to 18% currently from 8% in 2020, while support among black voters without a college education increased by 12 percentage points to 21%.

“[President Joe] Biden is further off than where we have seen Democrats in the past,” Michael Bocian, one of the pollsters who conducted the survey for the Journal, went on to say about the results. “I think winning back more Black men is going to be key for him.”

On average, Trump is leading the president by 0.2 percentage points across the nation, according to data from Politico. He also leads Biden in a poll of young voters between the ages of 18-35, which is a huge shift from the previous election.
The poll was conducted between March 17 and 24, 2024 and surveyed between 218 and 354 registered voters. The margin of error ranged between 5.2 and 6.6 percentage points. The Trump and Biden presidential campaigns did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump has a message of hope for all people. His economic plan will benefit Americans from all walks of life. Minorities realize now that they are being used as political pawns by the left, thus, they are gravitating toward the message, values, and principles that will actually provide a better life for them today, tomorrow, and the far future.
