If you have ever enjoyed watching movies like District 13 or Paul Walker’s (RIP) Brick Mansions, with their barely-time-to-breathe parkour action, then you really need to check out John Travolta’s 11-year-old son, Benjamen, on the parkour course.  While not quite a David Belle (District 13) yet, young Travolta’s skills are pretty impressive.  Parkour, or freerunning, is the skill of traversing any terrain using jumping, climbing, swinging, and some other “ings” that I am probably omitting.  Think Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan when they wanted to get somewhere. To be honest, when I first heard about Ben Travolta being a “level…

One way to determine someone’s age is to ask them about Saturday Night Live, if they ever thought it was funny they are probably a Gen Xer.  If the person thinks SNL is still funny, forget age, you have a progressive liberal on your hands–Run!  Of course, you have the GOATS from the early 1980s like Jim Belushi, Chevy Chase, and Gilda Radner, then pop into the 90’s era with “Delta, Delta, Delta, can I help ya, help ya, help ya?” and the Adam Sandler era.   Yeah, pretty funny stuff.  But that was yesteryear and somewhere along the way SNL…

Family, friends, and community members braved triple-digit temperatures to gather in the desert city of La Quinta, California, at the Civic Center Campus, for an evening vigil to pay respects to hometown hero, Cpl. Hunter Lopez.  Hunter was one of thirteen service members killed by a suicide bomber a year ago in Kabul, during the evacuation of Afghanistan. The hour-long ceremony celebrated Hunter’s life and his heroism by remembering the favorite movie and songs of the young Corporal.  Star Wars was the movie, and the ceremony went past dusk to include a lightsaber tribute.  Nearly everyone in the crowd of…

The mob is at it again!  The cancel culture mob that progressive democrats seem to drag along like the Peanuts Gang Pig Pen’s filth-storm, took their marching orders from US Attorney General Merrick Garland and went after the inalienable rights of members of Moms for Liberty across the nation. The egregious offenses that led the mob to attack the moms, across the nation as it turns out, were speaking up at school board meetings, which according to the mob, equates to racism if not outright terrorism. According to a report by Brad Jones of the Epoch Times, the commonality the…

There is a new documentary coming out on Discover+ that details the abuse that women suffered at the hands of now banished Hollywood star, Armie Hammer.  Hammer, who portrayed the Lone Ranger and was brought down by his own words–spoken and typed–now has to deal with a documentary that shines a light on his family history as well as his own abuse.  The abuse ranges all the way up to Hammer declaring himself a cannibal and using that as a threat against women in his life. Armie Hammer is either regretting his carelessness over the years right now, or he…

It may take until a day after the 2022 midterm elections in blue states, but the insane mask advocates should be getting the bad news soon since they are rather informationally challenged.  Their days of virtue signaling and Karen-ing may be coming to an end… finally.  The question is, will their cognitive dissonance allow them to accept what has always been reality, that masks have never worked?  Not in 1918 during the Spanish Flu, and not today during the China Virus. It will surely be a blow, and surely many in the health and education sectors will have a problem…

To the average American just struggling to support their family and avoid the WEF devised debt-trap, getting involved in their community seems too daunting, time consuming, and ineffective to be seriously considered.  Most envision “getting involved” to mean protesting, i.e. holding a sign for hours, or speaking out at a public meeting, and it’s just not “their thing”. While protesting and speaking are indeed ways to get involved, there are other forms community involvement can take and ways to make it “your thing”.  From writing talents to musical talents, to performance talents, to artistic/illustrative talents (where would we be without…

In a seemingly never-ending Woke competition between the cities of California, Los Angeles ups the ante by imposing what has been dubbed ‘water police’ upon its streets.  These officials are empowered with the ability to investigate water waste and issue citations. Climate change cultist, Gavin Newsom, is surely salivating over this program and hoping to enlighten the entire state of California with similar administrative state type policies.  Forgotten is that California refused to build more reservoirs over the past decade and have frivolously released what water they did have stored to save the smelt–a small fish that hasn’t been seen…

Move over $.16 savings on 4th of July BBQ, make way for being grateful to the Biden regime for a tiny, probably temporary, decline in gas prices! Yes, the Biden regime, and those that parrot, want the rest of us to believe in an upside-down world:  Where huge increases in the price of gas (and everything else) are Putin’s fault, but tiny price decreases are heralded as huge successes by the regime. The fact that Biden has consistently claimed that the hella-huge increase in gas prices has always been Putin’s fault is well documented.  Those claims ring empty however, when…

The National Education Association (NEA) yearly conference is winding down today and did they ever go broke for woke! Mandatory masking and vaccinations, dropping the use of the words mother and father, the commitment to environmental racism and climate justice, are just some of the wild proposals being considered by NEA delegates this year. In a report by The Gateway Pundit, the wokeness is evident in the organizations New Business Initiatives (NBIs), which are debated and voted on by about 6,000 delegates each year.  The NBIs that pass become official NEA policy.  According to the NEA: “Each summer, approximately 6,000…

Gina Carano, who was a trailblazer in women’s fighting, recently revealed that she lost 95% of her hearing during her now infamous “cancelling” from the crowd (Democrats) that likes to commit themselves to that type of hateful behavior. Carano began her career being a force to reckon with in both Strikeforce and EliteXC.  Following in the footsteps of other athletes, Carano moved from sports to movies, appearing in such films as Deadpool and Fast and Furious 6, and of course the Mandalorian.  It was when she was working for Lucasfilm/Disney+ that she got cancelled, about 18 months ago, for speaking…

The Deputy Chief of Staff for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Drew Hammill, posted Twitter comments this morning on a news story about the now-infamous elbow-shove that the daughter of newly elected Rep Myra Flores (R-TX) endured from Nancy Pelosi at a swearing-in ceremony last week. Hammill did not deny the elbow-shoving occurred, instead, he attempted to shame the news agencies that covered the story and claimed that Pelosi was only being helpful.  Hammill threw shade at any news agency covering the shove in a bad light, by labeling them “news outlets”–of course, the scare quotes seem to infer that such…

Chinese Olympic organizers announced last week that tickets to events would only be available to “select groups” in order to protect those involved with the Games from COVID-19.   Organizers had previously intended to offer tickets to the general public, though international fans had already been informed that they would not be able to attend the Games. Organizers had announced in October that all participants, staff, and volunteers would be cut-off from the rest of society and there would be harsh repercussions for any that fail to follow the strict pandemic safety protocols. https://twitter.com/AFP/status/1483050980585492482?s=20 As explained by the Daily Wire: “All…
