The X Files movie that was released in 2008, adapted from the famous 1990’s television show was entitled “I Want to Believe”. Well, considering all of the high-quality pictures and footage that has leaked out in the last couple years, do you?
I do. Always have. It has just always seemed perfectly reasonable to me that if the universe was ever expanding into infinity, the odds of us being the only intelligent life were infinitesimal. Sometimes I wonder if we even qualify as intelligent life. Just look at the 2020 election!
I digress.
No, I’ve always felt it’s a level of hubris specific to humans to believe that we are it in the universe. Just never made sense to me.
Doesn’t hurt that I have seen UFO’s on several occasions. Were they extraterrestrial in nature? Who knows, that’s the “U” in UFO.
Recently though, our government has begun to peel back some of the mystery and have finally acknowledged what we all already knew; that some of this stuff just has no explanation.
An airline pilot with an unnamed airline recently shot 35 minutes of his encounter with a UFO. The video is fairly good quality, and even harder to explain. Let’s fly over to Outkick for the details:

In a YouTube video shared by UFO Sightings Daily, a pilot for an unnamed airline filmed an encounter with an unknown flying object that lasted at least 35 minutes.

The unnamed pilot explained the situation with the following in part:
We took off from St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands for a 4-hour flight to Washington Dulles airport. At roughly 0055 ET I began seeing slow pulses of light in the sky directly in front of us. The pulses would last usually 8-10 seconds each and had gaps of darkness lasting anywhere from 10 seconds to over a minute. They were slowly moving from left to right. The pulses would be gradual (start very dim and grow into a bright light about the brightness of Venus, and then fade away). As an airline pilot, I am positive I was not seeing other airliners. Very few civilian aircraft can fly above 41,000 feet, and the objects were about 10 degrees above the horizon from our perspective. I was not able to tell the distance of the object from our aircraft, but in the 35+ minutes we watched, they never seemed to get any closer even though we covered about 250 nautical miles in that time. For this reason I believe they were in either the upper atmosphere or in space … As a former fighter/attack pilot I am extremely familiar with capabilities of modern aircraft, and I am 100% we were not seeing military aircraft or flares.
Well, that’s pretty much all I need to hear. You have a former naval aviator turned civilian airline pilot that sees and records something he can’t explain. He IS, however, able to ascertain what it ISN’T, and that’s almost as important.
Often one has to work backwards, eliminating the what ifs to get to a conclusion. Certainly, if another craft were in the area his radar or control would have alerted him. It didn’t.
As a pilot, if he says he is positive it wasn’t another plane, that’s his area of expertise. You almost have to take him at his word. If he wouldn’t know the difference, who would?
This all doesn’t mean an invasion is imminent, nor does it necessarily mean what he saw wasn’t man made in nature. Certainly, our government experiments and does things we don’t know about, even though the pilot doesn’t think it was anything military.
For now, it’s just more proof that something is going on up there. Thankfully it’s some of the best proof we have seen in some time. Maybe someday soon the veil will be lifted, and we will know the answer to one of mankind’s oldest question; are we alone?
