It seems to me there’s some sort of awakening going on in the world of sports and entertainment following the victory of President-elect Donald Trump in November. Disney just announced they were dropping a transgender storyline and admitted it’s the parents responsibility to talk about these kind of issues with their young children. The end must certainly be nigh.
And now, ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith, a legend in the business, is coming out swinging both fists at Democrats, letting the whole listening/viewing audience know that he’s had about enough of the junk coming from the left. Given that he himself is a pretty stalwart Democrat, this is huge.
According to a new report from The Daily Caller, ESPN recently changed their policy in order to forbid on-air talent from getting political. However, Smith does not care. In a recent episode of his “The Stephen A. Smith Show” Smith took an opportunity to shred the ever-living hell out of the Democratic Party after some new information came to light concerning the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz revealed in a report that there were 26 confidential human sources present in the crowd on Jan. 6, 2021. That being said, the FBI only gave three of them assignments to be at the Capitol. None of the FBI’s sources were given authorization to “break the law” or “encourage others to commit illegal acts,” according to the report. Also in the report, Horowitz explained that the bureau did not encourage their sources, nor authorize them, to enter the Capitol building or any other restricted area.
Per Horowitz, the investigation “found no evidence in the materials we reviewed or the testimony we received showing or suggesting that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds, or at the Capitol, on January 6.”
Smith himself got hold of the report and then tore into Democrats for spreading misinformation about J6.
“The big issue is I’m really, really sick and tired of every time I turn around, I’m finding something else that the Democrats have lied about or downplayed or misrepresented along the way,” Smith said before explaining that he is “really getting ticked off” that Republicans appear to be correct in accusing Democrats of blatantly lying about J6.
“We can argue policies. We can argue politics all day long. But the Democrats worked really, really diligently to make the case that the right had a monopoly on insidious, evil tendencies. Corrupt tendencies. Duplicitous, hypocritical, untruthful tendencies and every time they made those accusations. We turn around and find out that at least some of them are guilty of the same sh-t. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m sick of all of it,” he stated.
Could this guy have taken the red pill? If he has, he hasn’t seen anything yet.
