Academy-Award winning actor Jon Voight, an outspoken conservative in Hollywood, stated in a recent video responding to the glorious victory of now President-elect Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris, that our great nation was “being attacked” under the current administration, before going on to refer to Trump as “our hero” and a champion of “we the people.” I definitely agree with him on all accounts. A man who has sacrificed much of what he has — and Trump has as lot, so that’s saying something — and continues to press toward the goal and seeks to help people is worthy of the title “hero.”
The clip Voight posted, only a minute in length, has already racked up 3 million views as of Sunday morning, which means there’s a ton more by now. It’s clear from Voight’s comments and his demeanor that he’s beyond thrilled to have Trump coming back to the White House. Judging by the fact Trump won the popular vote, the electoral college, and helped the GOP take back total control of Congress, I’d say the American people are pretty happy too.

In the heartfelt video, the 85-year-old actor attributed the victory to “the grace of God and your prayers and your truths,” highlighting that the U.S. was “under attack” during the Biden-Harris administration.
“My fellow Americans, we all did it,” Voight began, addressing supporters with visible enthusiasm. “Now we have won our victory, and now we can save the most beautiful country, the USA, with our hero, the 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.” Voight, a long-time Trump supporter, referenced the phrase “we the people” as a call to unity under Trump’s leadership, describing the newly elected leader as “the greatest president,” and calling him “our hero” and “our president.”
“I’m so proud to call him my president,” he stated, as he parted with a heartfelt “God bless.”
As stated earlier, Voight is a very strong conservative voice in the entertainment industry, a man who isn’t afraid to stand up boldly for his convictions, no matter what it ultimately might cost him. Back in 2020, the star of “Deliverance” narrated an awesome video that explained American exceptionalism that was aired at the Republican National Convention, along with a second video that discussed the success the president-elect had during his first term in getting American hostages released from foreign countries.
He has also accused President Biden of having “lowered our nation’s standards and heightened our prices for his benefit,” while calling to “build up our country” and asserting Americans would “stand our ground for our truths” in the face of the nation’s temporary decline. Previously, Voight blasted the hypocrisy of the left and media for justifying Hunter Biden’s racism “while the Trump family were harassed night and day,” slamming liberals for attacking Israel and Jews, demanding that people not be “fooled.”
Voight is also not afraid of putting his extremely liberal daughter, actress Angelina Jolie, in her place after she condemned Israel following the horrific Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attacks by Hamas, stating she’s ignorant of the truth, noting there can be no co-existence with Hamas as they simply want to see “Jews and Christians wiped from the earth.”
