“Shazam!” actor Zachary Levi put out a message on Monday to all of the “closeted” conservatives within Hollywood, stating that it’s “now or never” for them to come out publicly and let their true political views be known and to show their support for former President Donald Trump. He’s absolutely correct. We’re at a crossroads in this country. It’s between preserving the principles of liberty and freedom that have allowed our nation to become one of the greatest, if not the greatest in the whole world and of all time, or to choose socialism and watch the last true beacon of freedom die. Yes, it is indeed now or never.
Whoopi Goldberg, one of the co-hosts of that awful harpie-fest “The View” stated during an episode of the show on October 1 that Levi’s claim that Hollywood is a “very liberal town” was “B.S.,” going on to name two actors, Jon Voight and Dennis Quaid, as examples of “working Republicans in the industry.” In response to her comments, Levi published an Instagram story saying that “closeted Trump voters” shouldn’t allow their fears of potential “ramifications” for their career, prevent them from supporting the GOP nominee since the industry itself “will not exist very soon.”
“There’s plenty, and they’ve sent me lots of messages, plenty of people in my industry, in Hollywood, that are terrified to publicly say that they would vote for Donald Trump or be conservative in any way,” Levi remarked in the post. “That’s why you don’t see them, that’s why they’re not very prevalent or prominent because they know that there’s ramifications for this kind of sh**. But like I said, y’all, our industry gonna be f****** gonzo, it already is. We’re getting eroded, the pandemic and the strikes and all of these things, they’ve already eroded so much. So, anyway, my cry to all of you out there, you closeted conservatives, closeted Trump voters, it’s now or never.”
“Do whatever you feel like you need to do. If you need to come out publicly and say it, if you still can’t, then don’t. I would never pressure you to do that. But know that, if what you’re afraid of is somehow the backlash of an industry that’s not going to exist very soon, then don’t let that hold you back,” Levi added, according to The Daily Caller.
The “Shazam!” actor said that Hollywood likely had more of a political balance in the past, but nowadays a star has to be “at a certain level in [their] career” in order to publicly express any conservative opinion.
“To Whoopi’s point, back in the day there may have been more of a balance,” Levi explained. “And there have always been more conservative-leaning stars that have been able to say those things. But you really have to be at a certain level of your career in order to get away with it, number one. But number two, that was also back then. And I think naming just Jon Voight and Dennis Quaid, and really could only name Jon Voight, Whoopi, someone else had to help you with Dennis Quaid, of the thousands of actors in Hollywood, that you could only name two, I think actually speaks to that.”
Yes, this is exactly right. She only named two. And even then, these two are working on independent films that are created by smaller sized companies that exist outside of the studio system. They are hardly “Hollywood” actors now.

“Levi endorsed Trump during a Sept. 28 rally in Michigan before introducing former presidential candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard to the stage. The actor said he grew up in a Christian conservative family that taught him to have “a healthy level of distrust for the government” and for an “industry that runs amok,” the report concluded.
