Legendary Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Francesca, was arrested over the weekend on felony charges of domestic violence after a rather explosive argument with her boyfriend in Los Angeles. Eastwood, 31, was taking a drive around the Beverly Hills area with her partner when the couple got into a massive verbal spat. Things escalated quickly and the actress took things to the physical level, according to a report published by TMZ.
And that’s when the boyfriend called local law enforcement who told him to immediately drive over to the Safety Zone, which is located at the Beverly Hills Police Department where he could have a conversation with officers about the situation.
via The Daily Mail:
Eastwood’s boyfriend had ‘visible injuries’ when the pair arrived to speak with police – with the star arrested and booked for felony domestic violence. Eastwood is in a relationship with actor Alexander Wraith and the pair share a son, six. It is unclear if Wraith is the victim. Eastwood’s boyfriend refused medical aid with the star released from custody on $50,000 bail. Francesca and Alexander had reportedly already been a couple for a while when they went red carpet official in May 2018.
At that time they had recently announced she was pregnant with their firstborn child, a son who was eventually born that September and named Titan. Alexander filed for divorce from his wife of eight years Lili Gaildraud in June 2018 while dating Francesca – although he told The Blast that he and Lili had by that point been separated for three years and that ‘everyone is moving on and happy.’ Alex is also father to a son from a previous relationship.
I can only imagine how her father must feel about this whole situation. Sometimes, no matter how good of a parent we are to our children, they can wander off the path, abandon the values we taught them, and make colossal mistakes that ruin their lives. It’s painful to watch, but at the end of the day, it’s their life, not ours. All we can do is be there for them and support them while they pick up the pieces.
Let’s hope the young Eastwood learns an important and valuable lesson from this situation.
