Kate Middleton has finally returned to some of her royal duties, quietly, without much in the way of fanfare, after recently announcing that her cancer treatment has concluded. Middleton underwent a total of nine months of chemotherapy and is now on the road to staying “cancer free.” This is excellent news and is the answer to many prayers from all around the world.
The news of the Princess of Wales’ attendance at a meeting held at Windsor Castle with folks from her Center for Early Childhood team and Kensington Palace staff was revealed in the official record of the Royal family’s activities, according to a report from The Daily Wire.
“The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle,” the event entry, per The Telegraph, stated in the report earlier in the week.
It is the first time Princess Kate has returned to work in what appears to be the start of her return to royal engagements, People magazine noted.

Earlier this month, Middleton dropped some incredible news about her cancer battle after first sharing back on March 22 that she’d been undergoing treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer. In a post on Instagram from the royal house of Kensington Palace, the Princess of Wales can be seen in the emotional video spending time with Prince William and their three kids as she opens up about the relief of finally completing chemo and what she’s learned about what matters most.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” the princess said. “Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you,” she added. “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.”
“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted,” Middleton stated. “Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus.”

She then went on to say that her “path to healing and full recovery is long” and that she’s planning to just take things a day at a time. Princess Kate also said she’d be back work sometime soon and would take on “more public engagements in the coming months.”
“Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life,” the popular member of the Royal Family said. “William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time.”
“Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling,” she concluded. “To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light so let that light shine bright.”
