Jason Aldean, a superstar in the country music industry, recently put on a concert where he told young people attending the event they needed to “get out and vote” if they were unhappy with how things were going in our nation and culture. Aldean is an outspoken fan of former President Donald Trump and will likely be casting a ballot for him in November.
“It’s a crazy a** time when the media makes me out to be the a****** for calling out people doing stupid sh**. This country is crazy,” he stated during the show, according to Breitbart. “It’s gotten really weird over the last few years and I will say this: November is a huge month for our country. Huge month.”
Jason Aldean is right! If you don't get out and vote, you have no excuse for complaining about the outcome! Vote, vote, vote❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/oyAqBgiJHw

“It’s not place for me to stand up here and tell you who to vote for and who not to vote for. That ain’t my business. It ain’t my place to tell you that. But I will say is I see a lot of young people out here … People that can actually vote now – you’re of age to vote,” he reminded the younger fans at the show.
Aldean then shared that when he was a young man he had no interest in voting and politics, focusing instead on cultivating friendships. He then told the audience that if they opt to sit out come election time, they have no right to whine and complain about the outcome.
“I’m telling you, it’s a big deal. It’s a really big deal and I see a lot of people bitching about the state of the country. They don’t like what’s going on. That kind of thing. If you don’t get out and vote, you got no right to bitch about the outcome of the election. If you want to see some shit change, then get out. It takes 30 minutes out of your day,” he explained from the stage.
Aldean closed with a reference to his song “Try That in a Small Town” and he thanked the crowd for supporting it. “I know who I hope wins and I hope they’re jamming this song when my man walks into the White House,” he said. In July, mere hours after a man attempted to kill former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Aldean dedicated his performance of “Try That in a Small Town” to Trump.

The country superstar has been a fierce and outspoken supporter of Trump, even joining the former president earlier this summer at the Republican National Convention.
“President Trump’s a friend of mine so I want to send this next song out to him. We all know what’s going to happen come November, so it’s all good,” Aldean told a concert audience in Nashville last month.
“Just goes to show you there’s a lot of bullshit in the world, and that’s kind of what this song right here was about, so this one goes out to the prez,” he added.
