Actress Jenna Ortega of Wednesday, Scream, and now Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, fame, has revealed why she decided to delete her Twitter account and it’s honestly horrifying. Ortega stated that she received a series of sexually explicit AI generated images of herself as an underage teen. There are truly some sick and twisted people that exist in this world. Just to make images of this caliber you have to be a perverted pedophile. But to send them to the person featured in them is a whole different level of wrong.
“I hate AI,” Ortega said during an interview with the New York Times. “Did I like being 14 and making a Twitter account because I was supposed to and seeing dirty edited content of me as a child? No. It’s terrifying. It’s corrupt. It’s wrong.”
Ortega, 21, stated she first received one of these explicit images on social media when she was just 12-years-old. Who does this sort of thing to a child? Do people believe that because she’s an actress that it’s okay to harass her in such a horrific way? And yet, in today’s topsy-turvy world, there are plenty of left-wingers who are just waiting for enough progress to be made with the transgender movement to then start in on attempting to normalize pedophilia. It’s already happening, but in small steps.
“The first D.M. [direct message] that I ever opened myself when I was 12 was an unsolicited photo of a man’s genitals, and that was just the beginning of what was to come,” Ortega revealed during the interview. No doubt that was super disturbing to see at that age too.
“I used to have that Twitter account and I was told that, ‘Oh, you got to do it, you got to build your image.’ I ended up deleting it about two, three years ago because the influx after the show [Netflix’s Wednesday] had come out — these absurd images and photos, and I already was in a confused state that I just deleted it,” she explained.
The young star then said, “It was disgusting, and it made me feel bad. It made me feel uncomfortable.” And that right there is what makes this wrong to the max.
“Anyway, that’s why I deleted it, because I couldn’t say anything without seeing something like that,” Ortega continued, according to Breitbart. “So one day I just woke up, and I thought, ‘Oh, I don’t need this anymore.’ So I dropped it.”

Notably, not long after Ortega deleted her Twitter account, the social media platform was purchased by Elon Musk and eventually changed its name to X. Elsewhere in the interview, the Scream VI actress also acknowledged that there are instances in which AI can be used for “incredible” and “beautiful” things.
“A.I. could be used for incredible things,” she further explained to the NY Times. “I think I saw something the other day where they were saying that artificial intelligence was able to detect breast cancer four years before it progressed. That’s beautiful. Let’s keep it to that.”
Something needs to be done to find and prosecute psychopaths and degenerates who misuse technology as a means of preying on young children. Let’s hope Musk gets on the ball and gets it done.
