Actor and filmmaker Kevin Costner has managed to really rile up the ever-so-delicate modern-day liberals that exist in our country today by confessing that he makes movies for men, meaning they are his target audience, despite going on to state he also tries to create strong female characters in his stories. You can never, ever be radical enough for the left, though, a lesson that has been taught time and time again by the outrage brigade.
Costner recently sat down for an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he made the controversial comments. And when I call these remarks “controversial” I’m not saying I think this is what they are. No, it’s the left-wing snowflakes that consider them such.
According to The Daily Express, Costner said, “I make movies for men. That’s what I do. But I won’t make a movie unless I have strong women characters. That’s how I’ve conducted my career and I think that’s why I have a good following.”
He then noted that he could not “conceive of a scene that didn’t involve a woman,” while he was writing the story for his latest film, “Horizon: An American Saga.”
Despite the latter part of his statement, fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with his comments.
One fan tweeted, “No longer a fan,” while another sarcastically commented: “I’m just happy that Kevin Costner is making movies for men, at a time when they need it most.”
Actually, thanks to the emasculation of men worldwide over the course of the last twenty years or so, and as we see Hollywood churn out more and more female-led content — which tends to do poorly at the box office by the way — now has never been a better time to make some testosterone-driven movie fare. Men need to see what true, old school, John Wayne-style masculinity looks like. So many have had their stones removed — which is no longer just a metaphor for castration, but is actual truth thanks to transgenderism — they have forgotten what it means to lead, face challenges and overcome them. To endure hardship without crying like a child.
Another fan chimed in: “I’m about to watch white men well past their prime make their case as to why we should believe in America. That’s right, I’m seated for Kevin Costner’s HORIZON: AN AMERICAN SAGA: PART ONE.”
“I mean okay fine whatever the Men can have all the Kevin Costner movies EXCEPT for this one. This one is for me and the girls,” a woman expressed, sharing a poster of Dancing With Wolves.
During the interview with CBS, Costner also let it be known that he was officially through with the hit series “Yellowstone.” The actor had warm, fond things to say about the show, stating he would absolutely be willing to reprise his role, but would not provide any further details.
“I loved the show before anybody,” he admitted to Gayle. “It was Taylor and myself. The truth never changes. That love was really strong.”

At the end of the day, Kevin Costner probably just did himself a favor by stating that he makes movies for men. All of the hatred from weak, crybaby feminists will no doubt create buzz for the film and drive many dudes to go and check it out.
