A brand new report from the New York Post has revealed that the 26-year-old illegal immigrant who has been charged with the brutal slaying of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley is listed as an active member of a gang hailing from Venezuelan gang, sources within the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency said. Hey, do you remember when former President Donald Trump talked about how a good chunk of the individuals who are coming into this country illegally are criminals and gang members and he got publicly crucified by the media for it?
Well, thanks to the border crisis that President Joe Biden continues to do nothing about, we now know the man was right on the money. It’s time to stop playing nice, to stop being afraid of being called all the petty names the left throws around and stand up for what is right. Build the wall, enforce the law. Seal off the border so people can’t just walk into the country. Those who are here illegally are to be sent back home.
If they want to come here, come through the front door. You’re welcome in America if you do things the correct way. We can always use more fine citizens, no matter where they are from. But you can’t be a “fine citizen” if you’re technically breaking into the house. That’s what criminals do.
via The Daily Wire:
Jose Ibarra, who illegally crossed into the U.S. in 2022 with his then-girlfriend and 5-year-old son, is part of the Venezuelan El Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang, and he has tattoos associated with the group, according to court documents filed in the U.S. Middle District of Georgia.
“Tattoos commonly found on TdA members consist of weapons, stars, clocks, trains, five-pointed crowns, and the dollar sign. Following Ibarra’s arrest on February 23, 2024, photographs were taken of his tattoos. Some of Ibarra’s tattoos suggest that he is a member of TdA,” the court documents stated. “Ibarra has a five-pointed crown tattoo on the left side of his neck, and five-pointed stars on the right side of his neck. Ibarra also has a teardrop tattoo under his right eye – teardrop tattoos are often associated with gangs and gang culture and are not exclusive to TdA, or any single gang.”
After being arrested and detained by Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas, in August 2022, Ibarra was released into the country and told to meet with ICE agents on October 24, 2024, more than two years after he illegally entered the U.S., the Post reported. ICE then reportedly moved its scheduled meeting with Ibarra back to December of 2024.
The court documents also stated that Ibarra posted photographs on his social media just last month featuring him holding a gun despite it being illegal for noncitizens to own firearms in the United States.
A year after he illegally entered the country, Ibarra was arrested in New York City by local law enforcement after he was caught riding a moped with the young son of his girlfriend riding behind him without a helmet or protective restraint. What’s infuriating, however, is that the NYPD cut him loose before ICE could issue a detainer for Ibarra’s arrest.
The miscreant moved on to Athens, Georgia in December of last year. Ibarra and his brother Diego were arrested there as well for allegedly stealing food and clothing from a local Walmart store. Both were slapped with a misdemeanor shoplifting charge and released. How many times can law enforcement screw this up?

Two months later, 22-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley was found dead after she had gone on a run near the University of Georgia campus. Ibarra was arrested and charged with concealing the death of another, false imprisonment, felony murder, malice murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery in connection to Riley’s death.
Riley’s murder sparked a national outcry for President Joe Biden to do more to curb the record number of illegal immigrants that have crossed the border under his watch. On Thursday, the Republican-led U.S. House passed the “Laken Riley Act,” a bill that would require federal officials to arrest illegal immigrants who have been charged with theft in the United States.
Now let’s go a step further and take the course of action that should have been taken from the get-go. I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: build the wall, enforce the law.
