A panel of five undecided voters spoke with Fox News after a town hall event aired on Wednesday evening, stating they were now all in favor of voting for the former president. That’s actually a big deal. Yes, it’s only five people, but if his platform and his explanation of it is strong enough to flip them over to his side, how many others around the country is that happening to as we speak? This is a really good sign for Trump’s potential in the general election against Biden.
Here’s more from The Daily Caller:
Trump is leading former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley 63% to 35% among those who are “very likely” to vote in Saturday’s Republican primary, a Suffolk University/USA Today survey found. All five voters responded affirmatively when hosts Laura Ingraham and Raymond Arroyo asked if Trump changed their mind during the town hall.
“Donald Trump, if I could summarize what he said in one word, it was just ‘strength.’ He had a way about him that demanded attention. He really sounded like the kind of leader I would want to vote for,” one voter went on to say during the segment.
Trump’s critics, including Haley, have expressed the opinion that Trump will engage in “retribution” against his opponents. During the town hall, Trump asserted that “success” will be his “revenge.” One voter particularly appreciated this line.
“That right there is the line I’ve been wanting to hear from Donald Trump this whole election cycle,” he remarked. “Is he running again to get revenge, to pay back, who do we have to attack, the vendetta? No, it’s my policies, my platform, my results, that will be my revenge.”
Ingraham pointed out that the former president is known for having a good sense of humor, going on to ask him if that is a trait he would be showcasing on the campaign trail. And it’s true, he really does have a funny bone. Some people take the things he says too seriously and for whatever reason cannot tell when he’s just messing around. He’s got sort of a dry delivery, and seeing as how sarcasm is an art form, it doesn’t surprise me that it all goes over most Democrats’ heads.
“We have a country that’s dying,” Trump replied. “We have a country that’s – it’s a failing nation. I say it in my speeches, it’s a failing nation. We have a nation in decline. We are a nation in decline. I just don’t think it’s a subject that we are smiling too much about.”

This time around he’s mostly business it seems. But that’s okay too. As Trump stated, we are in times of major distress and folks aren’t necessarily in the mood to giggle. They want to get to work rebuilding the nation that Biden has destroyed and to do that right, they need solid leadership. Trump provides this far better than Biden ever could.

Voters were impressed by this answer too.
“He answered all of my questions about getting the fentanyl and all the drugs out over the border,” another voter went on to say. “I think he’d be great to strengthen the homeless and try to help solve that.”
“Today he was so likable,” another man said. “Guys, when he walks into a room, he owns the room. It’s obvious everybody liked him. I couldn’t help myself but cheer for him. I am standing in front of a president. And it’s very exciting for me … It’s hard to not like President Trump.”
Things are looking good for the former president.
