Former President Donald Trump was furious with the Colorado Supreme Court — and rightfully so — after they announced a ruling banning him from the Republican Party primary ballot due to allegations he helped foment the so-called “insurrection” that took place on Jan. 6, 2021, at the Capitol building. If you aren’t yet convinced there is a concerted effort by progressives at all levels of government working to try and politically take Trump down before the 2024 election, I don’t know what more you need. It seems clear as crystal to me.
According to the Daily Wire’s latest report:
The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump is disqualified from becoming president again for “inciting the crowd that breached the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021,” which the court said violated Section 3 of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, known as the insurrection clause.
The court has stayed its decision from taking effect until January 4, or indefinitely in case of an appeal. Trump’s campaign promised to appeal the decision in a statement Tuesday evening. The former president blasted the decision in a series of posts on his Truth Social account, posting clips of commentators and legal experts alongside comments of his own panning the ruling.
“BIDEN SHOULD DROP ALL OF THESE FAKE POLITICAL INDICTMENTS AGAINST ME, BOTH CRIMINAL & CIVIL. EVERY CASE I AM FIGHTING IS THE WORK OF THE DOJ & WHITE HOUSE. NO SUCH THING HAS EVER HAPPENED IN OUR COUNTRY BEFORE. BANANA REPUBLIC??? ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!” Trump stated emphatically in a post published on Truth Social Wednesday morning. The former president is actually one of the few people in his age group that seems to understand the proper use of all-caps as a means of stressing emotion in online discourse.
He wasn’t quite done expressing himself though, following that up with, “A SAD DAY IN AMERICA!!!”
A clip posted by Trump featured Jonathan Turley, a law professor with George Washington University, who is in disagreement with the judges on the ruling and stated the opinion is “very, very dangerous.”
“Well, this court just handed partisans on both sides the ultimate tool to try and shortcut elections and it’s very, very dangerous. This country is a powder keg, and this court is just throwing matches at it. And I think that it’s a real mistake,” Turley stated while doing an interview on Fox News Tuesday evening.
“To call [the January 6 riot] an insurrection for the purposes of disqualification would create a slippery slope for every state in the union,” Turley added during his appearance on the program. “This is a time when we actually need democracy. We need to allow the voters to vote. We need to hear their decision. And the court here just said you’re not going to get that.”

The Supreme Court in Colorado voted for the ruling 4-3.
The left is working overtime to prevent Trump from becoming the next president, which means they are scared of him. More than that, he strikes terror deep into their hearts, and it’s not because they legitimately believe he’s an insurrectionist, a racist, or anything else. It’s because he desires to preserve Western values, American principles, and place the needs of the people in his own nation first before the rest of the world.
All the more reason to think he might just be the right man for the job.
