Conservative powerhouse pundit Dan Bongino, host of “The Dan Bongino Show,” opened his program on Thursday sporting red and black face paint showing solidarity with the five-year-old boy who was blasted by the mainstream media for being caught on camera wearing similar face paint which they called “blackface.” Hilariously, the boy, a hardcore Kansas City Chiefs fan, was discovered to be an actual Native American. Talk about embarrassing. Sheesh.
Oh, and that’s not all. Bongino unleashed a pair of middle fingers to express his true thoughts and feelings about the cancer known as cancel culture, and I have to say, it’s the perfect response to the madness we’re seeing play out on social media day in and day out.
“So folks sometimes you just gotta give the double-barrel middle finger and tell cancel culture portions of liberal leftist socialist communist America: You can take cancel culture, in a nice ball, you can roll it up just like this, big or small I don’t really care, you can take it and you can stick it right up your ass!” Bongino said during the opening monologue of his show.
“So this little paint job we did on my face today…this is dedicated to the Carron’s of the world … I’m not taking the cancel culture bullshit anymore,” Bongino stated, according to the Daily Caller.
Check out more details from the DC report:
A young Chief’s fan has been smeared after a senior writer at Deadspin circulated a photo of the fan at a Chiefs-Raiders game in Las Vegas on Sunday accusing him of blackface. One half of the child’s face was painted black, the other red.
Carron Phillips tried to accuse the child of being racist toward Native Americans for wearing a headdress and doing the tomahawk chop. The child is Native American, according to his family. The child’s headdress resembled the logo used in the 1960’s and early 1970’s depicting a Native American wearing a large headdress and carrying a hatchet.
People are so eager to find something online to be angry about that they will take something completely out of context, something they’ve only caught a glimpse of, and use it to create puff pieces on the Internet so they can appear to be socially conscious. In other words, they are looking to score woke points from liberal culture, not realizing that leftists are actually not in the majority here in the United States. They just happen to be the loudest crybabies in the nursery.

What Phillips did was horrible. He needs to issue a public apology and then call the young boy up and have a conversation with him. To neglect to do this is to lack genuine repentance for a wrong committed against someone. However, taking action like this is something that a grown up would do, and Phillips seems like he lacks any real character growth or maturity, so it’s probably not going to happen. Of course, his employer could always force his hand a little bit by disciplining him for writing an article that accused a child of being a racist.
What are the chances of that happening? Probably just as slim as his issuing a public apology.
